she stares at the window
focusing blankly at the fenestration
feelings tossed around in her head
thoughts in accumulation
Maybe one time in her life
she had pure happiness
when her head wasn’t spinning around
in total airiness
but with a positive attitude
being happy is just around the corner
so she’ll wait where she is
until the weather gets warmer
my life is a mess
yes i know its true
but i cant help but smile
whenever i see you
i cant help but cry
because thats all i know
but then i remember good memories
that were so long ago
when we still talked
and you were my friend
i hate to bear
that it had to end
so when i think of you
i have to smile
because truly
you were very worthwhile.
